1. What is OtherTees All about ?

   OtherTees started in April 2011 being the first Poland based company to offer customers all over the world limited edition tees. We focus mainly on pop culture design so at OtherTees you’ll find tees related to you favourite comics, movie, tv show or any other geeky stuff for that matter. New OtherTee is up on sale every three days so be sure to check us back frequently not to miss any awesome design we print !

2. What time new tees (designs) are up on sale?

   Each new OtherTee is up on sale at 23:00 CET and you can buy it until 23:00 CET the day sale ends. Our OtherTees are sold for three days only and after that certain period of time they are gone forever, never to be sold again.

3. What shirts do you print on?

   We print on 150g/m2 (4.5 oz.), 100% Preshrunk cotton tees which are super soft and comfy. Be sure to check out the sizing guide before ordering. Also keep in mind that the final product can somewhat differ from what you see on visualization. Due to multiple setup options on each monitor, colours of tees and on designs can look a bit different in real life.

4. Will my OtherTee shrink ?

   Every 100% cotton shirt may shrink a bit after the first wash. We use pre-shrink cotton tees so they tend to shrink less than others but you must be aware that your OtherTee may shrink 1-2cm. So if you’re between two sizes we would advise going for the larger one :)
   

5. Should I wash my OtherTee in any special way ?

   We would advise to turn your OtherTee inside out before washing, wash it at 30 degrees Celsius and hang it out to dry. This way it will shrink less. You also shouldn’t iron the design directly under any circumstances so it’s best to turn your shirt inside out before ironing. This way your shirt will have a long and happy life :)

6. How to get the perfect size ?

   You should check out our sizing chart first. Then grab your favourite shirt, lay it flat on table, etc. and measure it’s length and width just like it’s shown on our sizing chart. Be advised that your shirt might have shrunk from it’s original size so if you’re between two sizes we would advise going for the larger one. This way you’ll get your perfect size.

7. How do you print your OtherTees?

   Each OtherTee is printed with the best possible method which is of course screen printing. We also use DTG printing method for some of our prints.

8. What is screen printing?

   Screen printing or silk screening is a printing technique particularly suited for flat or relatively flat surfaces. The heart of the process involves a fine mesh or screen that is tightly stretched around a rigid frame. The areas that are not to be printed are masked out on the screen. To create the print, the framed screen is positioned over the item to be printed along with a dollop of thick ink. A squeegee is then used to press the ink through the screen. The masked areas prevent ink from passing through, but the unmasked areas allow the ink to be imprinted on the material. The final step is to send the item on a conveyor belt through a heat-tunnel. This curing process ensures that the inks dry quickly so that they materials can be stacked or packaged. Properly cured inks will remain on the printed substrate even under harsh conditions.

9. What is DTG printing method?

   Direct to garment printing, also known as DTG printing, digital garment printing and inkjet to garment printing, is a process of printing on textiles and garments using specialized or modified inkjet technology. The two key requirements of a DTG printer are a transport mechanism for the garment and specialty inks (inkjet textile inks) that are applied to the textile directly and are absorbed by the fibers.

11. How much does Shipping cost?

    For detailed shipping costs you should check out our shipping guide. On our shipping guide you’ll find only shipping costs for up to 2 tees ordered. If you want to order more that two tees your shipping costs will be calculated automatically. Please be advised that single order can carry up to 4 tees only. That’s to provide the lowest delivery costs to you guys. If you want to order multiple tees you should contact with info@othertees.com to arrange shipping details.

    We ship only with Priority AIR mail to ensure the fastest possible delivery time. When ordering you can choose either standard (not insured against loss) or registered (insured against loss) shipping method.

12. How long I have to wait until I can wear my OtherTee?

    After the sale period ends we send our shirts for printing which takes about 1-2 weeks.
    When all the OtherTees are printed, packed and shipped you should receive you package within given timescales:
    
    Poland 1-3 working days
    Europe 3-7 working days
    Rest of the World 5-15 working days
    
    Keep in mind that this are approximate times and delivery can take longer from time to time.
    
    We offer only Priority AIR mail shipping option and Priority Registered AIR Mail option which is insured against loss. Remember to pass your complete shipping address to OtherTees when ordering so your order could reach you in the shortest time possible.

13. How do I track my order?

    There's no detailed tracking information available after your order has dispatched to you. Registered shipping methods are Insured Against Loss. No detailed tracking is possible though. If you registered your account with OtherTees you’re able to follow your order status. Keep in mind that you’ll be notified with an email every time when your order status changes.

14. My order shipped, but it hasn't arrived yet. What should I do?

    Most orders shipped arrive in:
    
    Poland 1-3 working days
    Europe 3-7 working days
    Rest of the World 5-15 working days
    
    from the day the order is shipped, but sometimes it can take a little longer due to postal service delays. If it hasn't been the given working days, please give your order a few more days to arrive. Before contacting OtherTees about your shirt being delayed please check your nearest post office if your order is not there, waiting for you to claim it.
    
    If you suspect that your order is lost, please contact Customer Service for further assistance.
    
    If a package is in fact lost, OtherTees is not responsible for reimbursing shipping costs or the replacement of the merchandise if you used the Standard shipping method. Only Registered shipping option is insured against loss.

15. What should I do if I received a defect ?

    If you believe that shirt you received is defective, please email Customer Service. Please include the order number as the subject heading and attach photos of your product’s areas in question.

16. What payment methods do you accept?

    Our international clients can use only Paypal for payments. Paypal offers multiple payment options so you can pay anyway you want. PayPal keeps your data as secure as possible-with automatic encryption for all of your sensitive information and email communications.
    
    We accept payments in multiple currencies: USD, GBP, EURO, PLN. You can choose your prefered currency during checkout.

19. Can I return a shirt to you?

    If there’s any problem with your order or you’re not happy with your OtherTee just drop us an email to info@othertees.com describing your problem or just use our contact form and we’ll sort it out.
    
    As long as your OtherTee is unworn and unwashed you can return it to OtherTees.com within 20 days of dispatch for an exchange or store credit. Please keep in mind that due to limited edition of our tee it might not be possible to exchange your tee for another size.

20. Who pays for return shipping?

    If the return is due to a mistake on OtherTees part (wrong size received, defecttive shirt), the customer will be reimbursed for the return shipping costs as long as they use a standard shipping method. If the customer is returning a shirt because they are unsatisfied with the shirt or would like to exchange it for a different size, then the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Please email info@othertees.com before you ship anything back to us, so OtherTees can provide you with complete return instructions and shipping details.

21. Who designs your tees?

    All of our tees are designed by OtherTees community members. Here at OtherTees you will find the best graphic designers from all over the world. And they will provide the best. We can assure you.

22. Do artists get paid?

    If the design is selected to be printed artist will receive 1$ for every t-shirt sold by OtherTees.com. In addition to that artist will get from us as a gift one free OtherTee with his own design. OtherTees.com guarantes minimum 20$ payout. Artists retain all right to the designs.

23. What designs are you looking for?

    OtherTees.com focuses mainly on pop culture designs so anything comics, movie, tv shows related or any other geeky stuff for that matter should do. Please be advised that we curate our voting section so not all designs are approved for voting. But we can also like your design so much that it can go on sale without putting it up for voting !

24. How can I submit to OtherTees?

    To be able to submit to OtherTees.com you need to create an account. After that it’s really simple. Just use our submit section to upload and manager your designs.
    
    Designs are limited to 4 colors on white tees and 4 colors (not including shirt color) on color tees. Maximum print size is 40x30cm.
    
    Before uploading any designs please read carefully our Artist Agreement and submission guidelines.

25. How do artists get paid.?

    Artists get paid via PayPal. OtherTees will contact you within 5 days after the sale period to inform you how well your shirt did.
